I Got Started In Real Estate Because I Enjoy Helping Others...

My journey began in the late 1980's while working for U.S. Home Corporation; the nations largest builder of Master Planned Communities consisting of single-family, townhouses, and courtyard homes in one community. This was the beginning of Denver Metro expansion. I’m proud of being a contributor and part of the rapid expansion of the Denver Metro Area too Suburbs in the 80’s and 90’s. I started my journey at Huntington Village in Montbello and closed the project out. I moved to Prides Crossing in Aurora, which to this day has been the largest contributor to the growth and expansion of real estate development in Aurora. From Prides Crossing, I went on to Clark Farms in Parker to close out the Parker project. From there I moved to Castle Rock where I broke ground for The Meadows in Castle Rock. Now look at how The Meadows has grown...it is Castle Rock. 

My sole purpose was and still is to help others. Being a Denver native, assisting those in my community with their housing needs gave me a purpose. 

I practiced real estate in Colorado up until the early to mid 90's. That's when I entered the healthcare industry and held titles such as District Manager, Region Manager, Sales Director, National Accounts Director and Business Operations Executive for three of the top pharmaceutical an in-vitro diagnostics and medical device companies in the world. I had the opportunity to work for a Fortune 100 Pharmaceutical Company, the second largest Diagnostics Company in the world and the worlds leading Microbiology Company. I led sales forces and led business operations for a neuroscience pharmaceutical business that generated over a billion $s in annual sales revenue. During my tenure, one of my cross functional roles was calling on State Legislators throughout the Rocky Mountain Region in a Registered Lobbyist capacity representing medical interest for my employer. I enjoyed working in pharmaceuticals and capital equipment because, again, those jobs allowed me to help others. This also provides me the ability to utilize my Transferable Skills I picked up along the way, such as: 

o Managing the daily operations and all business aspects for a $1.2B Franchise
o Demonstrating a mastery of Sales and Marketing expertise
o Negotiating and Closing Large Complex Transactions
o Developing Solutions and Selling Conceptual Ideas
o Problem and Conflict Resolution Skill Sets 
o Intellectual, Logical, Contextual, Emotional, Nonverbal Listening Skill Sets
o Listening to what customer has to say

The above transferable skills are the common denominator that most Real Estate Brokers believe are imperative to succeed in our industry. These transferable skill sets along with a broad understanding of real estate finance, new home building process, land development, municipalities inspection and certification process, probate real estate and legalities associated with the transfer of real estate property have proven to be beneficial to my real estate clients achieving their goals with positive outcomes. 

Fast forward a few years and I moved back to my home state of Colorado and reentered the world of real estate! And might I add...it's been a great reintegrating...meeting new people, helping them and their families buy and/or sell their home. What could be better?
